I first heard this Eric Anderson song on the Blues Project's 1967 "Live at Town Hall" album. About a quarter century later, I saw them play it at the Bottom Line!

Speaking of the Dictators, Andy Shernoff's current lineup of the group will play nearby at Randy Now's Man Cave on January 24. Exactly one week later, Dictator-in-exile Dick Manitoba will play there!

I just realized I saw the Mommyheads last year at Jack's because I confused them with Geza X & the Mommymen, which featured Paul Roessler of the Screamers. I don't know if Paul was in 45 Grave when I saw them at the Brighton Bar in 2010, but I definitely saw him in Fancy Space People at Asbury Lanes in 2011.
