We did catch up with the Snowy Owl along the Potomac yesterday ('DIfficult Birding Hour' I called it as we were leaving during your Difficult Listening Hour). It was at the airport, on the other side of the river. A raven landed near it, so there was a nice color contrast for a few minutes
