This afternoon my wife and I saw the female Common Eider near Annapolis. That species is a marine duck and it is highly unusual for one to be so far up the Chesapeake Bay. We got to see it a couple hundred feet away. The male is much more colorful https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Common_Eider/id
jrlp 7:04:49 PM
And now I'm floored. Seriously, thank you Marvin.
Lester Wiggs 7:06:02 PM
"The present day composer refuses to die," originally from a 1921 manifesto by Edgard Varèse and Carlos Salzedo, which emphasized the need for composers to unite and fight for fair and free presentation of their work.

A lot of wonderful stuff that's new to my ears, which is to be expected from Marvin Rosen! I listen a whole lot more than I comment, so now is a good time to say thanks for another year opening my ears
