It makes me realize ... decades after thye fact! ... that even Donovan's psychedelic Sunshine Superman and Mellow Yellow period wasn't just influenced by sitar-infused Indian classical music but also baroque pop, with silvery harpsicord and insinuating chamber string sections ...
