Good morning Marvin and fellow listeners
Richard Mitnick 7:16:15 AM
Good morning, Marvin. I just pledged and paid $103.30 in honor of your 29 years at WPRB.
Marvin Rosen (host) 7:18:14 AM
Thank you so, so much Richard!! Really a great way to start the day!!
Richard Mitnick 7:20:33 AM
This music reminds me of Keith Jarrett.
Richard Mitnick 7:26:03 AM
Marvin, I need your help. Last Saturday night I was up late at caught a Jazz program. I think the host was named Turshu. She was terrific. I would like to see her program moved to an earlier hour. She would get a larger audience and WPRB would benefit after the loss of two Jazz programs. I wrote to the station manager and have enlisted Dan Buskirk and Jerry Gordon to help if she is amenable to the move. Can you also help?
Richard Mitnick 7:29:47 AM
Marvin, have you done or could you do a program dedicated to Arvo Pärt?
Marvin Rosen (host) 7:31:05 AM
Hi Richard! I did a whole program in early September in honor of his 90th birthday!
Patrick White (1) 7:47:04 AM
Greetings and Good Morning to Marvin and his listeners
Richard Mitnick 8:28:22 AM
RE: Facebook. Read "Broken Code" by Jeff Horowitz; "The Facebook Effect" by David Kirkpatrick; "Extremely Online" by Taylor Lorenz. You will quickly get off Facebook.
Richard Mitnick 8:33:59 AM
I forgot "An Ugly Truth", by Sheera Frenkel and Cecilia Kang.
Patrick White (1) 8:35:52 AM
Sacred Mass Music orchestrated by Arnold Rosner would increase Church attendance exponentially
Marvin Rosen (host) 8:37:29 AM
Good point, Patrick!! Arnold Rosner is an incredible composer!
Patrick White (1) 9:12:02 AM

Michael Shakarjian 9:43:43 AM
Marvin, sorry to be asking you to go into the wayback machine, but I remember hearing an interview you did with a composer - they were in the midst of working with Keith Emerson when Emerson died - that would bring it to 2016. Do you remember that interview and did that happen to be Arnold Rosner who you were interviewing?
Marvin Rosen (host) 9:46:18 AM
Thanks, Michael!! I don't believe that was Arnold Rosner. I wish I remember for sure who that was. I will try to search it!
Michael Shakarjian 9:49:56 AM
Thanks, Marvin. I appreciate it! Maybe it was a composer based in Philly.
Patrick White (1) 9:53:25 AM
Thanks Marvin everyone have a great week. Unfortunately Michael WPRB has erased many of its old playlists for some unknown reason
Marvin Rosen (host) 9:54:00 AM
