In 1974 he worked at CBS studios mastering recordings from tape to disc. During the early and mid seventies Gerald worked on the startup of the Virgin label, and also met most of the leading figures in German electronic/rock music. They employed Griselda Visser as manager and produced two cassettes full of accessible tunes. Marcel Reimer was working as a designer at Vinyl at this time and he created sleek, classy artwork for the tapes. These sold well and The Actor were spotted by a large recording company: Mercury. In 1985 they re-recorded a track called ‘Cover Girl’ without great success.

Geert Coppens and Peter Bonne started the band AUTUMN in 1981 and in 1982 they moved to TWILIGHT RITUAL project who recorded 9 albums and 2 singles. In 1985, Peter Bonne aka Chrismar Chayell founded A Split Second with Marc Ickx, and TR stayed as second plane for years.... The iconic album RITUALS, including the hit CLOSED CIRCUIT was a rare item to found in the 80´s and 90´s.
