Hi Dan. I am back to WPRB after a long absence. It looks like WPRB is down to two Jazz programs, having lost Will Constantine and also the Sunday Jazz program. It is hard to tell genre for a lot of WPRB programming because of the program titles. Con you tell me if there are any other Jazz programs beside your show and Jerry Gordon's?

Hello Richard as to Sundays the great and mellifluous host Jeannie Becker passed away a couple of years past joining her co host Marvin Bradshaw in Jazz Heaven.

Yes! We promoted the shows at KUSF and could always just "sign ourselves in" to any shows. Great memories, eating sushi and seeing the best.

Was able to watch a wigged out Naked City episode last week with the Holy Trio of a young Suzanne Pleshette,Al Lewis and Roger Carmel.

Wow! Watched Roger Carmel and Barry Morse in the bawdy THE TELEPHONE BOOK free on YouTube from 1971. A Little Annie Fanny type goes looking for her favorite obscene phone caller....

I see Barry Morse weekly on those still great Fugitive reruns. Truly a modern day Inspector Javert

I wore out my Sketches of Spain LP.My favorite Miles. Was so disappointed NBC didn’t use the music as a theme for the Barcelona Olympics. One of my frequently ignored letters

You hear Miles referenced in culture about 10 times more than you actually hear his music.....

I remember seeing him at Kool Jazz Festival at Penns Landing with his back to the audience. I was new to Jazz then. I thought he was getting ready to say a Latin Mass

25 of so years ago I saw Arthur Blythe quartet, David Murray quartet with John Hicks, and amazingly Steve Lacy's group. It was at Damrosch Park at Lincoln Center and it was free. Anyone else catch that show?
