Temporary Technical Issues

@ John Weingart (host) Well ... THERE you are! And here we are! I was driving back from town and only got silence on my car radio. Now the glorious music that I can finally hear on my computer feed ... :-D

.... or ... maybe not? Sounds like the powerful, plaintive voice of John Herald done sent y'all elsewhere ...

Hey, John: We've been getting multiple silences, punctuated with various WPRB station promos, and once in a great while, some of your music. (We even got another announcer promo-ing someone's appearance "in the 12 o'clock hour."

Huh?

... Blues in the Key of W, yes that's what we're a needin' ... ;-)

@ Rick Horowitz Yessir, same thing out my way, too.

@ Richard. I've occasionally thought that the trouble must be with the home-studio setup that John uses – but how would he have access to the station promos, the "12 o'clock hour" announcements, and all the other stuff? I'm thinking that the problem is at the station end. (Don't know *what* it is, but I'm more and more convinced that's *where* it is.

Sorry for the occasional interruptions to the program tonight everyone! We are working on it- can't wait to play the songs I've planned.

@ Rick I love WPRB, but I suspect that home studio veterans like John don't get anywhere near the tech support they deserve. I'm glad that "it's all over now, Baby Bluet" for the broadcast gremlins, and John's show is now music we CAN hear on the radio! :-D

Sorry about all the tech problems tonight, folks. The internet gremlins are out in force, it seems. We've got multiple folks troubleshooting.

@ Mike Lupica If I was a conspiracy theorist, I'd be convinced that some nefarious entity is attempting to shut down John Weingart because HE BROADCASTS THE TRUTH! ;-D (Hmmmm ... maybe I shouldn't joke about that ... LOL)
