@ DJ Bohr (host) Outstanding show, as always. Love the "Car Wash" theme and the movie. My favorite scene (spoiler alert!): a kooky character, with disheveled hair, ill-fitting formal jacket and crazed look (played by the wonderful Prof. Irwin Corey) drives through with jars of sinister yellow liquid. The car wash crew make him out to be the mad bomber terrorizing the city ... until his jars get broken and are revealed to hold not explosives but urine samples (he's on his way to the doctor's).

I'll try and find it when I can. Last year read a book on home tape recording from ~1956. It was for the audio nerds of the day and it was a completely new concept. They were so excited about "creating a Library of beautiful music at home, capturing it from the air to play whenever they wanted". Something about how exciting and novel the idea was presented caught me, and I remembered I could still do it today.
