Watching the documentary on Swingin London "My Generation" hosted / narrated by Michael Caine and what fine instrumental did they use for some of the colourful scenes? Yep Ogden's Nut Gone Flake indeed. A little while later, "Here Come The Nice" was used as well. Great docu. Caine is his usual funny, self effacing, informative self. Some other great people interviewed (mostly audio only) like David Bailey, Marianne Faithful, Mary Quant, Roger Daltrey, Paul McCartney and others.

Back in 2004 I realized that at sunset, if you lay on your back, the star directly overhead is bright Vega, even visible from the city, a remembrance for me about 9/11

nice - I'll have to take a walk near moonrise later on...I wish my phone camera was better - it takes lame pics of the moon, can't get close enough. May have to invest in a dig SLR

@Alan- yes- but the zoom is so lame on the phone- it distorts the image so much when zooming in max...

For the ancients, changing star patterns arrivals and settings marked the changing of the seasons..

I was watching a lotof old tv recently and everyone using flip phones - it made me nostalgic for that cool click on close - a nice dramatic fluorish of "business" for the actors...

Ever since I was little my mom clued me into the fact that so many actors on tv and in films would sit down to a meal at home or a restaurant and they'd maybe touch a fork but never eat a bite nor take a sip of a drikm and then suddenly have to LEAVE RIGHT AWAY! We're like.... hey you gonna eat that? Food untouched. Hopefully fake plastic food and not wasted.
