The last time I went to see Scrawl was at the original Knitting Factory (where Botanica is now). They were just finishing their set with a faithful rendition of the Carpenters' "Close to You".

@david i bet it was fantastic.

Scrawl still gives me goosebumps, as does World of Pooh. Don't think I ever saw the latter.
