Speaking of that Violent Femmes song, not too many summers ago I was pacing a 20- or 30- something driver on a two-lane road who was absolutely blasting and rocking out to Kiss Off with his windows down. At a light I got his attention and gave him two thumbs up. He was happy that I did that. I was enjoying that song too.

A young (under 30 or under 25) cool-grocery-store employee was wearing a Cure "Disintegration" t-shirt yesterday and he SO wants to see his favorite band. We had a great convo about that
