Esoterica (host) 5:16:32 PM
yeah agree it always sucks

Rob from Maryland 🦀 5:28:13 PM
@Carlos, also, traffic on Route 1 in the DC area always sucks

@Carlos, I figured. But, DC, Baltimore, Richmond VA, Miami, Route 1 traffic always sucks

@Esoterica, yup. In a few days the weather will be really cool
Esoterica (host) 5:31:24 PM
oh good!
TAndy 5:33:17 PM
It seems like a constant that Rt. 1 is awful. Makes sense since it's one of the original major highways that's also a main road for lots of suburbs too.
TAndy 5:35:17 PM
I can't imagine how crowded 1/9 is further up north. More time to listen to DJ Esoterica on the way home!
TAndy 5:37:52 PM
@Ears the show was excellent. It was one of my favorite musical experiences, honestly. The band jammed while the orchestra was on break, played the reprieve of Dripping Tap before the orchestra came back in for Crumbling Castle with the outro, and THEN Dragon. Crazy crazy good show.
Ears 5:38:09 PM

@Esoterica, The Wedding Present post-date my RTL (1973-74) experience by over a decade. I.e. they formed in 1985, first album in 1987. I found out about them around 1990 b/c some djs on WMUC in College Park MD loved the band. I got to see them at the old 930 Club in the early 90s, it was a great show!
ParrScream 5:48:39 PM
Hey Esoterica! Thanks for the tunes getting me through a pain in the butt late work meeting. :-)
Esoterica (host) 5:49:26 PM
Thanks ParrScream! Glad to help out:)

The first recording of “Sister Morphine” was by Marianne Faithfull, released in February 1969. That was the same month she began her role as Ophelia in the Roundhouse production of “Hamlet”, the period when she became an addict.
