| Hermann Szobel Transcendental Floss Szobel Arista/Legacy 1976 Hermann Szobel was born in Vienna Austria in 1958. He produced and recorded this one jazz fusion album in New York in 1976, at the age of 17-18. (Being the nephew of rock promoted Bill Graham didn't hurt when trying to make contacts in the music industry.) A review in "Down Beat" magazine stated that Szobel had "a conception and technique far in advance of most musicians twice his age."
Szobel disappeared from the music world after this album. He was allegedly last seen living homeless in Jerusalem. |
