“Falling And Laughing” is Orange Juice’s debut single and the first single ever released on the Scottish independent label Postcard Records, which also signed released music by fellow Scottish bands Josef K and Aztec Camera. The single was released in February 1980 and was the first track recorded for the band’s Peel Session on 10/21/1980.

Ali "Bounaly" Traore, born in 1994 in Niafounke, Mali. Growing up under the influence of musical giants, including uncle Afel Boucoum, Bounaly started playing guitar at the age of 10. Fleeing to Bamako during the 2012 conflict, Bounaly carved a unique career his versatile style, from racucous wedding shredding, nostalgic acoustic fingerpicking to modern, synth-infused productions.
