Good morning, MJ!
MJ (host) 7:19:31 AM
Good morning, Rob! How's it going this morning?
Rob from Maryland 7:32:09 AM
It's going ok. I woke up pretty late (for me) this morning. We're sitting here enjoying your show, probably going out soon enough to look for birds
Rob from Maryland 7:32:19 AM
How are you this morning?
MJ (host) 7:39:55 AM
Ah, what kinds of birds are y'all hoping to spot today?
MJ (host) 7:40:44 AM
I'm doing well, a little sleep-deprived, but it's always great to be in the studio. I think I'm gonna get a haircut after this
Rob from Maryland 7:47:53 AM
Birds: Dunno. I still have to finish coffee and stuff. At this point, maybe wait for someone else to find something groovy that was grounded by the rainstorms
Rob from Maryland 7:48:53 AM
Haircuts are good, sleep deprivation isn't
Rob from Maryland 7:50:03 AM
The Cummings/Clang matchup was excellent!
MJ (host) 7:58:06 AM
I've never thought about where birds go on rainy days? Do they stay in the trees the way people stay indoors?
MJ (host) 7:59:05 AM
Glad you liked Cummings/Clang! My thought was that the cadence of Cummings's voice lines up unexpectedly well with the bass drum
Rob from Maryland 8:22:50 AM
Cool that you noticed that
TAndy: Monthly Doner🥙 8:25:15 AM
I absolutely love all the little sounds in this track
Rob from Maryland 8:25:30 AM
Rain/birds -- depends on the birds and the volume of rain. Some ducks will stay out in the middle of the lake or river during a heavy rain. Other water birds might hide in the reeds or under a bush. Songbirds would definitely shelter in/under bushes & trees
MJ (host) 8:30:28 AM
It makes me very jealous that ducks are just waterproof, that's so cool
Rob from Maryland 8:31:56 AM

MJ (host) 8:38:28 AM

Aen 8:39:54 AM
Gmorning MJ! Fun show today :)
MJ (host) 8:40:59 AM
Morning, Aen! Thanks as always for tuning in :)
MJ (host) 8:41:59 AM
TAndy: me too, always so much to notice with Berio! For some reason, to me his music feels entirely at home over radio waves
Rob from Maryland 8:54:17 AM
We enjoyed your show this morning, MJ. Have a great rest of Saturday and weekend!
MJ (host) 8:55:10 AM
Thanks, Rob! You too, and thanks so much for the donation.
