Rosasolis: It wasn't hard, but I kinda made it hard by being tooo energetic and not thinking too much LOLOL

Rosa - and a safe camping trip when you have an 100+ sorcerrer galaxy princess, an alien star, two heroic powerup using plumbers, a garlic gass passing loving one(Wario LOL), an egg throwing eating dinousaur etc to protect you from the elements and scary wildlife etc,,Ill go with a group like that!!

Rosasolis: Bluebirds like their birdhouse on a pole so Squirrels can't get to the nest..

aw but it sounds like a lovely way to past the afternoon, i think it would be a perfect springtime activity :) those silly squirrels! and ossy omg that would be crazy..

Rosasolis: I only dug up the house out of a pile of stuff because I saw the 2 Bluebirds hanging around recently....

the eastern bluebird is my favee i wish i could see them

Rosasolis: The wren house goes up much later, sometime in the beginning of June, they are the last birds to arrive, just in time for summer..

Rosasolis: They are so doggone pretty, esp. the Male of course, and smallish, smaller than a Robin, only slightly larger than a finch..

Somehow when I was playing lots of music from Japan in the 90s I missed out on 800 Cherries. Nice to discover it here. Spring has finally come to Florida after a cold Winter for us. It was in the upper 30s as recent as this past Saturday morning. But we should be clear of that now and I won't have to turn on the heat..

Tampa where I live is actually half way to the bottom of the peninsula so even more remarkable to get so cold here. However, the coldest temperature recorded was 18 degrees in 1962. And 19 around X-Mas 1983, when Rob and I were freezing in Zero degree temps. in Maryland...Rob, that must mean some of our Swallows and Ospreys ( snowbirds ) have left to return North. But the hawks are still here screaming!

ive never been! but flamingoes are so graceful

Tons of wildlife here all year. Recently I have started seeing these red headed feathered wood peckers that sing nice songs back. You'll see herons all year as well as big cranes. In June the blue herons will nest in the big oak trees above the apartment buildings and make quite a mess. In January I saw a coyote peacefully walk by me. Tons of lizards and alligators.....

Totally Rosa and you should!! I haven't been to Disney World in long forever, since the senior high school trip years!

i remember seeing some alligators when i was visiting some family near st agustine! or maybe it was my imagination.. i really do enjoy those big majestic birds.. and @ossy aw i bet it was a lot of fun!

Ira, I remember Christmas 1983 still. The heat in my car wasn't working very well, so it never got above 25 or so inside my car that evening when I was driving 30 minutes to my parents' house

@rosasolis, right now the Ospreys are returning, the last ducks are heading north, the first swallows and migrating warblers are arriving. And the resident songbirds (Song Sparrows, cardinals, mockingbirds) are starting to sing
