Just finished Thurston Moore's autobiography. Some great stories about feedback drenched gigs and sound experiments. One I loved was setting up a guitar on a stage, turning up the amps beyond any humanly safe volumes and then Lee would try to hit tennis balls into the strings. Loud cheers whenever WHAMMMM he connected with the guit

And my favorite will always be the set up for The Burning Spear song where he jams a drumstick under the strings at the 12th fret, turns way up, and rubs the stick with another drumstick on either side. And Lee contact mics up a power drill then runs it through a Wah Wah pedal. Yes.

Thurston, Kim & SY loved Nirvana so much. They said that lead up to the big hit album during their tour together was unforgettable. Even more experimental and lovingly destructive on stage than SY in some respects. Just setting up amps and equipment just to knock it all down literally... and tackle each other. Those people had some fun

Last week did Italian pork sausage. A nice pre cooked brand (Niman or Nyman?). That really hit the spot. Cut into little discs that browned up a bit at the hi temps and got that grease glow.
