Brownies & cinnabon!!! MMMMMMmmmmmm!!! I've been experimenting with a British-inspired recipe for brandy snaps with ginger whipped cream. The brandy snap part is a success but only after several failed batches. They're like tuilles (rolled-up lace cookies) -- labor-intensive but worth it I think!

WOAH! the several failed batches are so so worth it- my mouth is watering!

Listening to that “Underture”, we see how desperate the Who were to pad out “Tommy”. They reused the “Rael” recording from their previous album two years before.

I remember the B-52’s 1981 “Party Mix” ep! It was an effort to satisfy consumers during the long interim between “Wild Planet” and “Mesopotamia”.

The multi-award winning “Robot Dreams” is the best robot movie to come out this year. (Technically it came out 2023 in Spain/France, but it came out 2024 in USA/UK.) I caught it at the Princeton Garden Theater last July, but now I see it’s available on DVD at my library.
