This season of Ungoogleable Feelings is coming to an end. When thinking about the feelings I want to put on air this time of year, there is only one answer: love. Love, the oyster, the making of a pearl. Not the thing but a process, which we so rarely get a grasp of. Can grass feel itself growing? Can we, ourselves? Love, boring love, quintessential and inexhaustible, the asperities of which obsess us so. I wish we had words better than ‘drunk’ and ‘intoxicated’ to describe the mind succumbing to the body, but why words when there is music? Today's is a melange of different genres, leaning into the sweet, and dreamy, and fun side of love. More to come in the future.

Oh, the Incredible String Band! Such a wonderful folkie-traditionalist-psychedelic-art music duo of the 1960s. Fabulous original material ("The First Girl I Loved" is a sweet example) and multi-instrument wizardry. In addition to The 5000 Spirits or the Layers of the Onion, highly recommended Wee Tam and The Big Huge (available on CDs, downloads and streaming). Enjoy!
