tens of thousands - no. maybe 500. plus that many pieces of vinyl. when my time is at hand i would donate, but i'd probably need an ambulance to deliver them.

@DJ AskTheQuestion - Yeah, that song’s a lotta fun! My grandparents were from Donegal and my grandmom played accordian and sang. That style, which is really more specifically lilting or puirt à beul , (Sean nós is sometimes used as an umbrella Irish trad vocal term but it’s a lot slower,) was very popular in the northwest of Ireland in my grandmom’s generation and she could lilt with the best of them. My dad picked it up from her. He often would skip verses just to get to the lilting part

@ DJ AskTheQuestion Although using genetic/protein use engineering to help plants retain more and/or use less water, it seems you're advocating a project on the scale of - and with all the potentially irreversible risks of - rocketing shiny particles into Earth orbit to reflect back a % of sunlight in order to reduce global warming. Your thoughts?

Perhaps we'll do better to address the causes of global weather weirding that's bringing Earth both catastrophic flooding and seemingly intractable droughts.
