That's cool - she's in Colorado Springs- 10 inches of snow and still falling rn! I have another friend in Ft. Collins....

My kids grandma lived in the Springs along with my dentist back in the day. :)

My best friend can see Pike's Peak from her living room, framed perfectly in her bay window...

Yes indeed! I remember climbing along Pike's Peak as a kid and being winded as a 19 year old. lol

They also have a cabin, not sure where, but out where the wild horses run...

That's quite a climb...we drove up there and those switchbacks were terrifying!

I love the afternoon storms that come off the mountians there. It's really something else.

Oh yes! You really want good brakes going down that thing. LOL

They had a huge SUV well-equipped... I tried not to look out the window...

lol! I have some stories about nutty roads out behind San Simeon in the California coastal range. I white knuckled the whole way.

Hey, Readie! Thanks for keeping us company on our delivery route this morning (still morning out here!). Were shattered and not sleeping well. But leaning on friends, staying busy with volunteer stuff and exercise and work around the house, and trying to just focus on the moment. Thanks for giving us a safe place to hang out!

@Andrew - I hear that - yesterday was so beautiful out...it was incongruent with my mood...but I went on a long walk to immerse in it...it helped a little
