@ Cailyn (host) I love Alice Coltrane's version of "Going Home." Never heard it before, thanks! Bit of trivia you may already know: The melody is based on the largo movement of Czech composer Antonin Dvorak's Symphony No. 9 "From the New World" which ~ like many compositions from his U.S. sojourn ~ was vitally influenced by African-American music. One of his students, Wm. Arms Fisher, wrote the lyrics and adapted the melody for what became the now-beloved song "Going Home."

@ Cailyn (host) And thanks for playing "Blue Sunday" by the Doors. Despite his fame, IMHO Jim Morrison is still underrated as a vocalist. You can hear the Sinatra influence in his singing. And the other three guys in the band were tremendous instrumentally!
