This October, NASA is set to launch the Europa Clipper, a satellite that will probe for signs of life on the icy moon Europa. Among the cool things they are putting on it (like the waveforms of the word 'water' in 103 languages, and a poem by Ada Limón) they have a microchip with the names of 2.6 million people on it. Isn't that amazing? Your name, forever in space. Even though there's no way for it to be traced back to you, a piece of you is still out there. The first thing you are given when you arrive on Earth.
Today's show is dedicated to the tingly feeling you get when you think about that for too long; the wonder, the excitement, the discomfort of all the things that are out of reach. Or, it's just cool music :) Some synths stuff, some punk, maybe some disco??
