Jen, I hope you can get rid of the ants. We used this product https://www.terro.com/terro-liquid-ant-baits-t300 to get rid of our ants. The ants take a little ball of liquid back to their colony and share it with their colony-mates. Eventually (several days or a couple of weeks), the colony is eliminated b/c enough ants have taken enough bait back to the colony that colony is no more.

I have some of those out! The ants so far are ignoring them, but I have hope. Their strategy right now is not to come out en masse but just to send out a few emissaries to come out and taunt me.
