@ DJ Michaelus (host) Tanaka Yuri's "Sky Restaurant" is compelling (even if I admit to not understanding Japanese). Do you know if City Lights was a TV series in Japan? Or one on this side of the Pacific that I missed?

I notice that the City Lights 2nd Season album leads off with a cover of "Plastic Love," the big hit for Mariya Takeuchi.

I looked into it briefly, but I couldn't find too much information. As far as I can tell, City Lights seems to be a series of albums released by Tanaka 👍

I think you're correct, it's a series of albums and not a TV series. I'm wondering if "2nd Season" might have been a mistranslation of something like "Volume 2" ...?

Although there are so many great J-Pop and K-Pop "idol" groups, I find I also like jazz/pop-oriented individual singers such as Tanaka Yuri (who you played tonight, Mariya Takeuchi, Taeko Onuki and Minako Yoshida. Arigato!
