Glad to put it on the airwaves! I hope my informal rambling comes across as even keeled.

Personally I don't know if I could ever go through with that lining burning procedure, it sounds very unpleasant and no telling if the leftover scar tissue can cause further issues with cancer or necrosis or whatever

Even the standard cutting the stomach down to size sounds unpleasant to me

It does sound unpleasant!! I would not like to be a guinea pig in that set of procedures

I would guess new nests might also have something to do with their wide range of foraging? Saving the commute?

Maybe cleanliness or bed assembly is fun to them
