Hey there peeps. Have a glowing review of The Dahmers last week. NY Dolls meet early AC/DC, w/a cross between Alice Cooper and Leonard Graves Phillips on the mic. Way underrated, after woodshedding for the last 12 years you'd think they'd be playing to more than 30 people in someone's attic in Northern Liberties. The bar was a hoot, straight out of Always Sunny In Phila, I will definitely be back. Loved the show! Thanks, Esso

I haven’t seen the Finnish movie "Man Without a Past" since it came out in 2002, but I remember it featured two Renegades songs. According to imdb, its director Aki Kaurismäki also put them in the soundtracks of two other of his movies. The band’s unbeatable version of Bill Haley’s “Thirteen Women” achieved belated fame in Todd Abramson’s 1983 anthology “What a Way to Die”.

David Pajo tells a great story of Slint recording their first album with Albini and showing up at his house for the first time in the middle of the night. They apparently got him a shotgun as a housewarming gift, and the band hid while Ethan Buckler, whom Steve had never met, knocked on the door, pointing the shotgun at him when he opened it. That's another great docu for the list "Breadcrumb Trail".
