The only time I saw it was as a kid, back when they had HELLA cars to crush. Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton.

those were the days :'( they barely squish cars now. it definitely doesnt have the same energy it used to

I have a feeling that environmental concerns and cash-for-clunkers killed that off

meanwhile in alaska during the spring time they launch cars off a cliff for huge crowds lol

thats absolutely part of it. i just watched a doc about it and thats what they said in addition to new cars being too soft and fragile

so true. like u can only crush a car so many times by a huge ass truck before it becomes putty lol

right lol. plus the newer trucks are so fragile too. half the show today was watching theyre wheels pop off and exhaust catching on fire lol

jeez. i wonder if they're using the same trucks they did all those years ago

we need tractor pulls like they have in germany and holland lol

i doubt it. seems like theres a lot of money in the trucks from tractor and truck manufacturers. seems like more of a testing ground for various truck/tractor patts

very very insteresting. seems to not be helping much given the piss poor quality of ford and chevy products lol

lol ya new consumer trucks arent the best. it was funny how much of the show was basically a commercial for kids truck toys as well.

the turbine trucks are so cool too. ive seen those videos before too, absolutely insane

australia knew what's good with the super trucks races too

right! those ramps are crazy. i play those videos at work all the time and its surprising how few people know about those races

I got my mom to sit down and watch one a few years ago, she really enjoyed it as much as I did lol

You probable know the one, where the truck crashed anf flipped off a ramp, with the wheel smashing against the closed ped bridge.

That was the most viewed video of the truck races bac in 2020 i think. back when youtube was pretty much an essential service lol

lol wild times. there needs to be super truck races in america though, could definitely see it doing well in a place like florida

got me watcching king of the hill on my phone now

koth is sooooo good. growing up as an only child in the midwest its super relatable too

it took me till i was 17 to finally appreciate its genius

its so sublime. a good show to pay attention too and appreciate or just throw in in the background on repeat

naw i can't do bacground stuff, same reason i can't listen to podcasts. if i'm listening to or watching something, my full attention will be paid to it

i love watching the pre-hd seasons and watching for animation errors

the first season is pretty rough lol but its great. i love how mellow the first season is in comparison. everyone even talks lower and slower

Yeppers, the art direction was a lot looser too. First seasons are always a little rough around the edges.

My favorite but most subtle animation error is the episode where Hank and the guys went to Vegas to look for his dad. When he finds him at a craps table, Hank sets down his beer. The bottle was a long neck, but switched to a stubby for one shot, then back to long neck.

i love pilot episodes for the same reason
