Yeah it was very moving scene. An southern African American congregation sang it welcoming a visit by a group of railroaded convicts.

The Bobby McFerrin lp "SpiritYOUall" from about 10 years back had some of the best versions of the old spiritual/gospel numbers. Did a great show at the Kimmel. Sounded great there.

Jerry not sure why they still call it Old City. They pretty much destroyed all the old and put up brand new cookie cutter architecture

Saw the Allman’s play 3rd bill in ‘68 to Savoy Brown and Van Morrison at the Cherry Hill Centrum. Dwayne was pissed as he yelled into the microphone ‘we’ll never play 3rd bill again’. And I don’t think they ever did
