That Nisennemondai at the start of the show WAS my favorite of the show, but the Paul Serret is creeping up on its spot.

There's a good sandwich shop in Frenchtown, was just there on Sunday after a hike.

the music is fantastic tonight

There are a lot of nice shops and cafes there. There's also a good sushi joint at the north end of town by the baseball fields.

Finally getting a chance to enjoy the music after making supper and then catching up to the trial of the year.

Ha, pace yourself and hydrate in that case. Ah, I must be driving past it on the speedways each week

The drive up is beautiful, too. Occasionally I like to go on a scenic cruise in 29 up to Easton to hit up Lehigh Valley Mall and grab some Sheetz in Allentown.

Yeah the river roads, 29 and 32 and all the towns along them are just great. Wonderful cruising.

Haven't explored the menu too much, but it's a similar vibe to Wawa but the food is more Burger and Dog oriented than Hoagie and...whatever Wawa's second calling card is

Sheetz is better for junk food, fried food, and beer. Wawa is better if you're desperate for a hoagie after everything is closed

Deirdre. yes, the Chinese Characters for Forest are indeed beautiful. The Japanese pronunciation is "Shinrin" the 1st of two characters is a composite of 3 trees the 2nd character is two trees. I loved studying Chinese Characters ( Kanji ) or pictographs because they give such amazing insight into ancient thinking when they were developed.

Yes you will enjoy studying Kanji. Some get pretty esoteric like 気 in the piece you are playing now. That is pronounced "Ki" of course. A word that many in the West know, loosely translated into "life energy". That character is made up of a grain of rice under steam or water vapor to come up with "life energy".

Those few moments when I burn my face sniffing the rice cooker upon open are when I feel most alive, so this makes sense
