@Mary Jones - oh wow! We have our usual couples that come nest in our yard every year: mourning doves, catbirds, cardinal, sparrows!

@Lizbot I haven’t seen the catbirds since last fall, still waiting for them, but the cardinals and sparrows et al. Are around, and at night I can hear a great horned owl. Sometimes there’s an upside to the exurbs.

@Mary Jones - BTW, I wrote Mary Vs. The Movies a review ages ago, but it only displays my name as "click click click" weirdly!

@Brian Emmet Otter is one of my favorite Christmas/Muppet specials. Know it by heart.

The short lived HBO animated series "Animals" from a few years back had some great bird episodes. Pigeons. The show had a dark greyish look and tone. It featured animals usually in an urban setting, NYC-ish. But they had very human like activities and personalities blended in with their instinctual animal activities and habitats. We loved it. A hoot.
