There was a Christine-spotting at a fanzine convention by Mike who gave you good reviews

Princeton Zine Fest was a lot of fun! Now that there's a precedent, I hope this will be an annual event. It drew a lot of people, and the two panel discussions were well-attended.

How were the "Zines"?

Mike Lupica was one of three panelists for the Zine Culture and Collections panel, and all three panelists had great information, photos and videos.

Were they for sale?

The zines and their artists were gathered in the community room with all their creations. It was a pretty full room. The zinsters were both selling them for small amounts of $, and in some cases giving them away.

Drummer Dafnis Prieto is the headliner at the Princeton Jazz Festival on April 13. I saw him with Henry Threadgill and Vijay Iyer at the Jazz Gallery in New York. He is excellent.

A vibes player who I have been championing will also be there. She is spectacular. Yuhan Su. Rudresh has a ton on his plate, I'm sure doing publicity is hard to get to

In my younger years I was privileged to have heard Alice Coltrane, Pharoah Saunders… play live on a number of occasions and this summer is my first trip to the Emerald Islands for an artists retreat to work on a sight/sound piece.
