@TAndy, I went to the free noon concert today at that other station. Free is good. :)

The last time I saw the roots, via live stream in 2022. It was a heavy bore fest. Long intermissions, performers came on after 3-4 hrs and some singers that didn't really have their heart oin stage, but raise loud music lmao. I heard Jazmine Sullivan or Mary J Blige came on in few hours after someone went home,

Yeahhh those multi-performer outdoor festivals can be a nightmare to plan for lol egos, tech issues, and scheduling conflicts def happen

Even more stressful behind the scenes if it's multiple stages AND multiple days. Unless it's like a DJ thing, which usually the DJs are housed on-site or stay overnight locally

Logistic issues for sure!

And money.

That's where the $10 beer, $5 water (no refills), and $100+ VIP experience (a small balcony and private bathrooms) come in lol

Today what I saw was a great short promo show. I saw people buying drinks in the early afternoon. So Friday!

boiler room fest is going again this summer too in new york, but only a small selection of artists i'd wanna see. And the venue they chose is run by scumbags, always overpacked

But! i LIKED it. Not bad in any way.

Man TAndy, I had to do my mask when I saw how packed it was. I was way in the back. I am not ready for crowds aftrer the COVID PTSD!

I'm still split on a mask because either way I'm gonna wind up getting it. And I actually DID get it for the first time last year after flying, despite wearing an industrial strength mask. Sucked for two and a half days then it was gone except for weird off-taste for a few weeks.

I only where a mask in large unknown origin groups. Like a bus and ya know... Just being smartish I hope.

i'll always wear one in planes/public transport anyway, nasty recycled air full of people's breath and god knows what
