Went to go see Gismonti in Philly around "86, sat down at the bar after paying and the bartender told us that they won't be playing because there were not enough tickets sold but we'd get a free drink. My friend told the bartender to get a good look at his face so he could be a witness in court to what my friend will do to the place.

My friend missed the part where we would be getting our money back too.

Seems like the kind of friend you have to choose which shows to go to with real carefully.
