@ Krista (host) You mentioning a little critter that looks just like a bee but isn't, reminds me of the Hummingbird Moth (Hemaris spp.). Tall about a stunning example of convergent evolution! When I first saw one around a friend's flower beds, looked closer and relaized it was an insect and not a bird ... wow!

I saw a hummingbird moth in a garden in Ireland. I really thought it was a hummingbird at first! Ireland doesn't have hummingbirds, I found out.
