Beautiful start to the program tonight.
DJ JAKI (host) 3:18:30 AM
thank you! i'm glad you like :)
DJ JAKI (host) 3:19:08 AM
sorry about the jump start
TAndy 3:20:05 AM
Not sure where we are on the playlist, but the piece playing right now is like a warm enveloping light. Sounds like comfort in solitude.
DJ JAKI (host) 3:23:56 AM
gah thanks for the catch, keep missing the song changes
TAndy 3:27:33 AM
This show is filling in the gap that Better Days left when Austin graduated/left the station. Much appreciation
DJ JAKI (host) 3:29:17 AM
<3 i'll try to plan more ambient shows like this in the future
DJ JAKI (host) 3:29:47 AM
and that was a lovely way to put it. i think we could all use some warm enveloping
TAndy 3:54:53 AM
One of my favorite Burial releases. I loved the odd Japanese double-release for this and Street Halo
DJ JAKI (host) 3:59:51 AM
very cool, i love how music can have niche quirks like that to discover.
TAndy 4:01:32 AM
I distinctly remember years ago, shortly after it came out, learning about and reading articles regarding Centralia PA listening to that CD on repeat. The association is still fresh in my mind.

Hello from Australia :)
DJ JAKI (host) 4:20:27 AM
hello hello! glad you could join us here in jersey
DJ JAKI (host) 4:21:07 AM
that's so cool TAndy, i looked up what centralia was and it reminded me of the birdsboro climbing quarry. they had similar streets like that all graffiti'd up
TAndy 4:21:30 AM
Greetings, Catherine!
TAndy 4:21:50 AM
@DJ Jaki You KNOW I'm about to look that up and go down the rabbithole if there is one.
DJ JAKI (host) 4:24:43 AM
haha i'm sure there is! i had a lot of fun going there last year
TAndy 4:56:15 AM

DJ JAKI (host) 5:01:15 AM
