Padma 9:11:27 AM
Good morning Rob! More than the previous storm
Rob from Maryland 🦅 9:11:47 AM
We had one or two inches overnight. The streets have no accumulation and the sun is out now so everything is melting
Padma 9:12:50 AM
Kids are furious of course. :-)). A snow day lost.
Rob from Maryland 🦅 9:13:59 AM
Good morning Padma! Yikes, hopefully that isn't a lot. We had 3 to 6 cm

GM, David. The tea in mud cups is unique to North Infia, I believe. A playful thought came to my mind. How about a “Tea/tarang”, with various amounts of tea in each cup! Just kidding on a winter morning, as Sangeet plays on WPRB

Padma 10:56:03 AM
Interesting to hear Kunnakkudi right after the Chemba's rendition of Pancharatna kriti "Endaro". During the Tyagaraja Aradhana Pancharatna singing each year, Kunnakkudi would stand up among the crowd of musicians and "conduct" so to speak. (He would show hand gestures prominently so that everyone could start singing at the same time.)
Sangeet Team (host) 10:57:25 AM
Interesting. Who elected him to do that?
Padma 10:58:02 AM
Kunnakkudi was known for playing "Amritavarshini" ragam standing on the near dry bed of Lake Puzhal attempting to bring rain to the parched city of Madras when monsoon rains were delayed.
Sangeet Team (host) 10:58:27 AM
I love a good controlled scientific test
Sangeet Team (host) 10:58:59 AM
what was his success rate?
Padma 10:59:43 AM
@Host the Aradhana committee would select a musician to coordinate and schedule five days of Aradhana concerts and seating of musicians for the Pancharatna singing.
Padma 11:01:09 AM
@Host I do not remember what his success rate was. Yes, weather models must incorporate violin playing as a variable too. :-))
