I remember being in Montana on Highway 2 in deep snow and walking around with a full moon and the incredible sparkle from walls of snow. Not much of that happening around he much these days.

When i worked in Wichita all we had was dry powder..

Wichita is so in the plains. Those grain silos around town are wild. I took tons of pictures of those. But the plains get really weird weather, and I am not a fan of tornados. :)

I went to Monorail twice when I was visiting a friend in Glasgow over ten years ago, and I did feel a little starstruck by seeing Stephan Pastel behind the counter.

I'm afraid I punished him pretty hard the first time I met him. But he was nice about it.

I maybe should have talked to him some more, but I just took my stuff up to the counter and had him ring me up as if I didn't know who he was.

but that's because I was kind of starstruck and had no idea how to break the ice.

I had just been to the Scared to Get Happy festival and saw BMX Bandits, so I think I babbled at him about Duglas

And then my then boyfriend wanted me to ask him for a picture and I was mortified by the idea

Consonant are great! We have the CD in the library so I'm sure people were playing it 20 years ago, but the students don't seem to have found it yet

"Ethics" by 23 Skidoo was so different sounding than their 1982 album "Seven Songs" that it really threw me off, I had to look this up to see if it was the same band. Thanks for playing it!

yeah, it's their first single IIRC - sounds totally different from the stuff they did just a year or two later. the B side is a bit dubbier.
