A group of people near me, on their lunch break apparently, were eating smelly hot food out of squeaky styrofoam containers, slirping on straws, and talking among themselves.

Brian, it was one of the grand old movie theaters on South Broad or Chestnut Street.

Haven't been to that one. This theater was kinda homemade. Just a big room with holdup chairs. I saw 12 Monkeys there.

We used to go to the dollar movie in Cinnaminson every Sunday night. Everyone would bring beer and you would hear bottles rolling down the slant. It was fun

Friends worked at the Lawrenceville, NJ Eric Theater back in the mid 80s. And other Eric locations here in PA mainly (Eric / Sameric was PA/NJ movie theater chain for years). They had some wild all night underage and adult drinking parties. We sneaked up on the roof at the Larryville location when the after hours parties were held there. Lots of free movies and eats at the local one by the OV mall in Pa

Last few times we flew or went to movies we brought our own food heh. Square pizza slices work great. Fit in the ziploc freezer bags well. Sure beats plane or theater "food"
