So, there was seltzer. Which was refreshing and delicious. Then there was hard seltzer, which not my scene but OK. However the new trend of now calling what was originally known simply as seltzer "soft seltzer" MUST STOP.

Carlos, I went to my fave Vietnamese place, hit up my favorite coffee spot, went and got two comics, walked around the great Cornell art museum, enjoyed a surprisingly one-sided college basketball game and was home by 8 pm!

I went to my new primary care physician on Monday for my annual physical. While there, I complimented the person taking my blood on her "I Like Big Veins and I Can Not Lie" pin. I think she thought I was just being polite until I added "Sir Mix-a-Lot must be very proud."

Seeing my doc tomorrow.

Hope it goes smoothly. This was a positive experience, and I felt much more listened to than at a prior practice.

@DJ Tenderloin I am, but it takes at least 3 hours after any of that before I start feeling drowsy so it's not particularly effective. I use CBD/CBD-A oil to minimal effect. Its half a benadryl every night, which I know isn't sustainable.

I need to get off the night shift but that ain't happening for a while 🫠 but at least in the summer I can be first on the beach after my last night of work. FACT

TAndy I think you need a little THC - not CBD. CBD is fine I guess but I think you need just a little sprinkle of some THC - prefarbly Indica

Yeah I getcha. I have an indica heavy hybrid, but still too long to kick in. The CBD oil I use is full spectrum so it has a minimal amount of THC terpenes instead of just CBD isolate. It works sometimes, mostly just stops me from ruminating but doesn't kickstart the dozing off.
