Hi Rosasolis and everyone! Let me try and translate the Fire selection: "Medina / Black Black" / "If One Does Not Go..." and the rest is already translated.. BTW I did live in Japan which seems like a lifetime ago btw. 1987 & 1990, Unfortunately I was not aware of the Tokyo Psyche Scene when I lived there....

Rosa - Mentioning you liking the word ushering, iconic rnb singer Usher is performing in this year's halftime Super Bowl

The music scene in Tokyo was insanely great. It would take hours to tell about it, and I was not even focused on music when I lived there. There were only a few radio stations on FM no College Radio..but the stations were much more varied than anything in the US, you could hear cool stuff on regular stations then. There was a weekly TV show on weekends called "Ika Ten" where new bands competed for record contracts. A lot of great music came out of that show. I could go on forever...

Then in the 90s till 2013 I was in the San Francisco Bay Area and saw TFUL282 many, many times. I also did tons of radio like WPRB and was at the same station as Dan Buskirk was in SF....

What else have you been listening to Rosasolis?

i love this ep. it was my first tful282 experience

@ira i didn't kno dan buskirk was in sf wow! i bet the scene there was also amazing id love to hear! and @dub a lot of ichiko aoba and a genre called pluggnb (with sara!)

@andrew same! that ep and mothers of all saints were my introduction and im forever happy for it

Maybe Dan being in SF was supposed to be kept secret, but I actually heard him mention that station "KUSF" that we were both on once on his show. KUSF was like WPRB but shut down Jan. 2011..Ichiko Aoba song = Machinery Work of Space ( Space as in "Outer Space" the word "Uchu = Outer Space )

her set was perfect, she opened for Japanese Breakfast and having not listened to her stuff beforehand, I was blown away

i can't remember a show ive been to where the opener has such an impact on the crowd like that
