I can smell that ozone like odor from my old TI 1970s calculator. Very basic for a kid type of calculator. Not one of those integral function ones that came later. Had one of those in high school. Used it maybe a dozen times ha. But that old one.. used many many times

there was a short-lived radio program called 'pocket calculator' on shortwave station wbcq where a couple of guys would go shopping at flea markets and on canal street in nyc. they were into calcs, and watchmans and walkmans and digital watches. it was nerdy but fun. their website is still up but hasn't been touched in a long time.

No but I should. If raw cinnamon in coffee tastes great, cayenne has to.

Ive never tried cinnamon in coffee but I can see the appeal! I put the cayenne powder in the grinds when I do my pourover, so the drink itself is very clean and not grainy

Funnily enough I only had cinnamon in coffee from my friend's mother in socal. She made instant coffee taste delicious. I swear, parents always know how to make bad food taste good.

They sure do. After years of trying fancy coffee, still nothing quite like my neighbor’s parents brewing Chock Full O Nuts in a $20 machine

I feel like I read something about Steve Albini and Electric Audio having a coffee style that involved cinnamon being mixed in with the dry espresso
