Hi Jerry, this is so good

I was just reading the book on City Gardens punk rock venue in Trenton. They booked Henny once! They had to pick him up in NY & drive him down in their beat up car. They went to some dinner before show at a great Italian restaurant in Trenton (Crecco's i think) and first thing Henny did was call his wife to say I love you and let her know he arrived OK.

I was just reading about Les mccann- saw he passed recently. When was your recording of him from that you just played?

Max, this track is from 1969, the Les track before that was from 1972

Search says Invitation to Openness (the long track was from that lp) was recorded in 1971.

They opened a Neshaminy Creek Brewing taproom within walking distance of my place few years back. Been sampling all their new releases as soon as they come out . I gotta get back to the distributor soon to get me some variety going.

The walking distance thing sounds very cozy, but yeah, I hear you. Variety is the spice of life

Ya! Played some music there with one of my old band mates in late summer . It was the tap room's 2nd anniversary. Really fun time . Super easy. Bar keep is great

I remember that the Visitors played at the Waterworks behind the Art Museum for the Jazz Society of Philadelphia. I felt the spirit of Coltrane at that concert. The building levitated!

@Jerry, yep I have been to Neshaminy Creek Brewing several times. Nice local place. I just heard that they are expanding; they're opening a taproom in Harleysville. They must be doing well.

Russ is also a beer connoisseur...especially for stouts. Russ, you been there?

I met the Grubbs brothers when they did a live studio concert for 88.9 around the same time. Carl was a soft spoken, nice guy.

Yes, the Art Museum had some good concerts over the years. The last concert that I saw before the pandemic shutdown was trumpeter Dave Douglas with pianist Marilyn Crispell at the Art Museum. At the bottom of the stairway in front of the statue of Diana (not Abe Lincoln). Jerry is in the wrong city!
