Hi Readie & fellow Righteous Nowhere-Dwellers! Happy New year! So we've gotten over 12" of snow on Saturday/Sunday, and we're supposed to get a torrential 2-3" of rain and balmy rising temps overnight. HOWEVER -- the prequel was supposed to be a snowfall non-event -- but AU CONTRAIRE: the flakes are coming down fast and furious and I was out driving Max around on rural fast-disappearing roads! OY!!! But what got me through it without losing my cool was YOUR DELIRIOUSLY WONDERFUL SUB-SHOW!!! (-:

Accuweather has predicted an average of a significant snowstorm every week into February so my hope is that the mid-Atlantic eastern seaboard will get with the program, and are off to their usual slow start... When we lived in NJ & NYC, that seemed to be the pattern. I'm with you -- I LOVE snowy winters (even if my Kia is decidedly NOT good in the snow... ). Sending snowy vibes in your direction!

I've been hearring the same consensus from hobby METS. Mid/late Januarry inti February will look better for snow, and the current pattern is expected. Just warmer.
