I lost my favorite recording studio of all time my home base loft9 in August 2023, same month i was doing wprb training

i almost lost something myself last year, very important.

gotta not take things for granted, and do everything we can to keep the things that we value the most

Otherwise, it is hard to misplace a studio.

I didnt own it, it was owned by a good friend of mine who decided to close it down in August we were open for 7 illustrious years. One of the largest and most legendary studios in NJ history right here in New Brunswick NJ

I love the red clay of Georgia, but I am not a fan of the summers there. I wish him well!

You've got a new home base it seemss, doing well forr urself, it's good to look back at the past at the studio and recognize the value it held and the opportunities it gave you

Well you know snakes then and how to soundboard. That's cool! I was offered a job by the general manager of WNBC to go work at 30 rock when I was younger, and I passed because of the commute. Bad move on my lazy asses part for sure.

Same here. That losing a studio really hit home.

Being at home is cool and you can edit for days, but the dynamic of hanging with people and playing together is really a good thing.

I had a friend in California that had the classic Inca nose and the coolist BMW I have ever road in! lol

Well not sure, I know my alma mater Rutgers wants me back like a heartbroken owner once they found out I was at WPRB XD, i was at an open house in june and they didnt even care about who i was, fast forward to november im at an alumni panel for my studnet film and I was told I could start in January Lets bring you back

and i applied again and finished my traning a week after loft closes

Cool! You guys on that side of the mic always make mine too! I appreciate the homework you guys do to put these shows together. So glad they keep getting you good folk on the air. Life really is better acoustically because you care. It's not just a rotation playlist by any means. Quite the opposite.
