Sounds great Dan . Happy New Year all. I just heard about DB Shrier. Philly sax recorded 1 lp in late 60s. There is a reissue plus some bonus coming next month. There is some overlap in the Hasaan Ibn Ali world between Shrier and others involved in the releases that came out in past years.

Don’t think younger persons realize how radical it was for a prime time 1968 variety show to green light a singer calling a sitting President a Big Fool waist deep in the mud.

I must have seen Pandemonium on cable in the 80s. Seems familiar. That and Student Bodies in the same vein no doubt

As soon as you said Ava Mendoza in the previous mic break I was hoping it was something from this release. Big chairs for playing that Dan and happy New Year!

That sounds like such a wonderful driving experience. I've only been to the city twice and only spent time in a couple of specific locations. Absolutely beautiful city with wonderful architecture everywhere.

What a life experience for Denardo Coleman (Ornette's son). Playing drums for your dad and other greats at age 10-13. Recording, touring...

Ya hard to keep up with recent end of year releases and soon to come: Elliott Sharp; Umlaut Chamber Orchestra; French TV; Eddie Henderson; Piero Umiliani; William Hooker; OKAN... so so many things released and keep coming. Those all looked interesting.
