Poor Das Damen had to follow Mudhoney when they played the Court Tavern in 1989. I saw them again when they backed up Arthur Lee.

oh i'm so glad! I was thinking they must have been getting more air lately with the big reissue that I don't have yet.

Saw them open for Rollins at cbgb in 1990 and they were so extremely loud

Nylon instantly became my favorite Asbury Park band, for whatever that's worth. I phone-video recorded three of their songs, but I don't know the titles.

I don’t remember Das Damen at City Gardens. I did see Mudhoney play there with the Fluid and headliners GWAR at a shortly-before-Halloween costume party.

When Girl Trouble opened for Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet at CBGB, it was the last time I saw either of those bands. Shadowy Men’s bassist Reid Diamond died in 2001. Girl Trouble never returned to the East Coast.
