Last week we had a very successful Space Exploration extravaganza at The Franklin Institute with clear skies, Jupiter and Saturn through two large 'scopes..it went very well..

You just can't rely on the setting sun to orient yourself precisely certain times of the year

Nope. Normally just 1 or 2, and just 3 or 4 hours a day.

I heard the short version of Autobahn- the single 3 and a half minutes- on WIOQ FM, I think it was... and I immediately bought the LP and was psyched to hear the 22 minute version....

I used to listen to WFLN Philly's Classical music station...until very sadly they went off the air.. I remember hearing their last sign off one afternoon..sooo sad..

@Alan- I do remember WFLN also...I guess there was no other classical stations in Philly after they left- or was WRTI on then? Maybe WWFM? Were they around? Maybe their signal made it to Philly...

Readie: I beleive that Temple U.'s WRTI took over all the Classical albums, and a very few DJ's

I believe that "Jill Pasternack" was one of them if memory serves me..

Readie - Heard on the Philly stations recently that Phyllis Hyman is getting a stage play musical lifestory....at finally last!

Called "Living All Alone"(namesake song) and will play at the Kimmel Center around February

Alan - Damn wow, wprb existed that long and happy birthday to wprb, like Disney's 100th birthday!!

She did and a year after Lion King's release, which also the voice of Simba's mother, Sarabi, also passed away on that same year. Named Madge Sinclair

In July 2021, attended one live video discussion and celebration of Phyllis Hyman, hosted by other Philly mutual Patty Jackson and some other people. It was a wonderful event on Phyllis birthday
