The Sonic Bloom

Dec 14, 2023 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM

With Esoterica

folky, punky, poppy, jangly, post-punky, and psychedelic goodness of the musical variety coming out of your speakers courtesy of moi. oh yeah, and occasional show tunes.

Hey, do you like treacly, un-ironic melodies made to appeal to your favorite bubblegum-smacking teen? Do you like ambitious prog-esque ballads that pluck at your heartstrings? Do you like make-up and glitzy bell bottoms, platforms and a dangerous attitude? Let's (glam) rock!

The story of Giuda begins in 2007 and is inextricably connected with that of Rome’s seminal punk rock band Taxi. When Taxi’s career was cut short by the tragic passing of their drummer, singer Ntenda, lead guitarist Lorenzo and bassist (then drummer) Danilo regrouped as Giuda. The lineup is completed by guitarist Michele, adding a second layer of boogie sparks to the mix, and new drummer Alex, who recently replaced Daniele.

Mott the Hoople!’ Here I was talking to Dylan, and I thought he didn’t like Mott the Hoople by the way he was acting. I didn’t need this shit mocking me. But then he turned around and said, ‘No, man.
